PUM is a volunteer organisation committed to the sustainable development of SMEs in developing countries and emerging markets — positively impacting economy, society and environment.
Mr. Asim Qadri, Group CEO, is designated as an advisor of PUM in Pakistan. Over 14 years we have completed technical and management consulting for more than 43 companies, with more projects in the pipeline — bringing Pakistan’s corporate sector closer to global standards.

Raising the foundry sector
PFA came into existence in 2003 when foundries — including Qadri Group — began working on computer simulation technology in Pakistan. With SMEDA’s support, PFA was registered on 15 March 2004.
As a founder member, Qadri Group shares knowledge and technology across the industry. Over 15 years PFA has grown the sector through seminars, research papers and industrial visits.

Zakat distribution
One of the pioneer organisations in Pakistan to establish an exemplary company method for paying zakat. Funds are carefully distributed among the needy according to Islamic principles — supporting many less-privileged families.

Education support
We financially support deserving children of employees — tuition, books and uniforms — and track their progress. Over 1,000 students facilitated to date; 230 currently supported, and growing.

Fire fighting & mock drills
Employees are trained to international fire-fighting standards. Skilled instructors at manufacturing sites and head office run practical demonstrations and theory so teams can handle emergencies with confidence.

As an ISO 45001 certified organisation we go beyond legal compliance: process emissions tested internally and externally, low-power equipment, staff pool transport, and an open culture for ideas that cut our carbon footprint.
